The Funkybaker is a full service dessert company that specializes in custom cakes. My goal is to take your ideas and turn them into a spectacular piece of edible art. Using only the finest ingredients available (no preservatives here folks!), not only will your creation look amazing it will taste great too! My mission is to have every customer be a happy customer!
About Cheryl English (Chef/Owner)
After spending some time working not so happily in Corporate America, I finally decided to follow my heart - and my love for chocolate - and earned a Pastry Arts degree from The Institute of Culinary Education. The day I graduated was the day The Funkybaker was born!
With the encouragement of friends and family, I started selling my desserts to anyone and everyone. I was developing a clientele and looking for my niche when I stumbled into the world of custom cakes. With great patience, perseverance and tons of practice, I discovered a new love... cake decorating!
Now equipped with a full menu of fantastic desserts and the ability to create the cake of your dreams, I bring to you The Funkybaker. Desserts are my passion and I would l love to share my passion with you!

Love The Funkybaker!!!! I was the lucky winner of on of her Christmas baskets filled with desserts, one was more delicious then the next! I enjoyed everthing so much, that I suggested her for my friends Bridal Shower. She made a fabulous chocolate cake with a huge diamond on it(which was the theme of the shower). I can't wait to use her again!!!

The Funkybaker's desserts are absolutely delectable! I must admit that I am a slave to the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, however, I have eaten just about all the desserts. They are rich, flavorful and absolutely stunning to the eye. I don't eat any other desserts. I recommend The Funkybakers desserts to anyone that is having a party or just want to treat themselves or their families. You will not be disappointed!

Whether you are looking for dessert platters for a catered event, when friends are over, or just for yourself, you can never go wrong with The Funkybaker. And nevermind if you would like a custom cake; her artistic talents, vision, along with yummy factor are all there! I will say that I am partial to (and particular about) cheesecake, and The Funkybaker gets it right! Creamy deliciousness! Oh, and her brownies are to die for. Wait, and those truffles Well, you get what Im saying.

I've been ordering delicious desserts from The Funkybaker for 3 years now. My favorite is her red velvet truffles. All of Cheryl's treats are made with so much attention to detail, they are almost too beautiful to eat. I ordered a Yankees hat replica cake for very special birthday and there was not one detail missed. Not to mention the mouth watering cake and oh so addicting buttercream filling! The love and dedication she has for her craft shines through in every bite. Every since my first order, I can't bring myself to purchase a dessert from anywhere else. The quality is unmatched!

I have purchased a couple of cakes from Cheryl "Cakeboss" . Not only were the cakes masterpieces but tasted good enough to make you want to slap your mama. A year ago I had her make a cake to resemble my friends favorite L.V purse. This cake was so on point I simply couldn't believe it. At the party Several people thought it was an actual purse. The cake was made perfectly in design and taste. I cannot express in words the talent this young lady has not only for the design of the cake but for making them taste exquisite. Cheryl enjoys baking and it shows through the love and detail she puts in each piece she does. If you haven't tasted her sweets as of yet; you are denying your taste buds a wonderful experience.
